Apparently chickens are the cool new thing. I was handed an article today from todays StarTrib that was talking about people who choose to keep small backyard poultry flocks. I think it makes me almost feel like a trend setter.

Greetings from north central Minnesota! I Found you through Tiny Farm Blog. Loved the chicken and crossword puzzle comment! I absolutely covet your chickens and the article you linked to didn't do anything to dampen my chicken owning dreams! It's just not in the cards. So I'll enjoy your stories...and keep dreaming.
Back in the low 20s here this morning and still a few inches of patchy, but steadily melting snow. I am so ready for spring! But having a few shelves full of exuberant seedlings in the basement is a big help!
